CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Two people were ejected from their vehicle after a rollover west of Valley City shortly after 12pm on Wednesday.
Highway Patrol Captain Brian Niewind said the driver, a 23-year-old Wisconsin woman was traveling eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle went into the median and rolled.
Niewind said she and her passenger a 22-year-old Wisconsin man were transported to Mercy Hospital and then airlifted to a Fargo hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. The condition of the injured has not been released.
Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin said the two people were ejected from their vehicle and landed onto the westbound lane of Interstate 94 after the crash.
Niewind tells newsdakota.com that he and his troopers have responded to 185 crashes in the southeastern region of North Dakota just in the last two weeks.
