N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The March 13 Match Five Powerball prize worth Million was claimed Wednesday at the Lottery office in Bismarck. The winning ticket was sold at the Cenex Convenience Store in Wahpeton.

The winner, a resident of Wahpeton who chose to remain anonymous, had to check the numbers several times to make sure it was the winning ticket. The lucky winner has no immediate plans for the prize winnings.

Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball tickets cost $2 per play and for just $1 more, add Power Play to increase all non-jackpot prizes.
