N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For the last two years, the Buffalo Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross has recognized three individuals each year who have been outstanding volunteers for the Red Cross. The tradition continues in 2013 with the annual Heroes Night on Friday, April 12 in Jamestown.
Besides being one of the Buffalo Valley Chapter’s biggest annual fundraisers, Executive Director Beth Dewald says this evening is a chance to personally thank and recognize some very deserving individuals who are instrumental to the Red Cross’ efforts. The names of those being recognized has yet to be officially released to the public.
Heroes Night will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 12 at the Gladstone Inn & Suites in downtown Jamestown, with tickets available for $25. They can be purchased at the following locations: Buffalo Valley Chapter Office, First Community Credit Union or Ingstad Family Media. Plus, tickets are available online as well at www.impactgiveback.org
The event includes a social, cash bar, appetizers, pizza buffet, game shows (such as Family Feud), chance prizes and the recognition of this year’s three outstanding volunteers. Chance prizes include a 223 Rifle with scope and case, air travel for two, spa treatment, a necklace, a salt lamp, a heated neck massager, three-in-one candles and an iPad mini.
This year’s sponsor list includes Orriginals, Lux, AgriCover, Stoudt’s, Scherbenske & Son and Hillerud.
