(NewsDakota.com)- Day one of the WDA softball tournament is in the books at McElroy Park in Jamestown.

Jamestown came in as the No. 6-seed and were defeated by the Century Patriots 17-0. Dickinson also won their opening game knocking off Turtle Mountain.

The Jamestown defeated Turtle Mountain by a score of 14-2 and will now have a chance to play in a state qualifier Saturday.
