CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Chad Lueck will become the new principal at Washington Elementary School in Valley City later this year.

Originally from Lidgerwood, Lueck graduated from Valley City State University with a major in elementary education. He received his master’s degree from Tri-College University in Educational Leadership.

Lueck has been employed by the Litchville-Marion Public School District for the past 7 years including 5 as elementary principal. He and his wife Trish live in Valley City and have two daughters and a son.

A contract for Lueck will be presented to the board at a Special School Board meeting on Wednesday, June 12th. Pending school board approval, Lueck’s official starting date will be August 5, 2013.

Superintendent Dean Koppelman said, “I believe Mr. Lueck will do a very good job for our school system and will help us continue to move forward in providing a top quality education to the students attending Washington Elementary School.”
