CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A man injured in a house fire in Valley City is recovering. Fire Chief Gary Retterath says the rental unit the man was living in was severely damaged in the fire.

Retterath says the cause of the Sunday morning fire remains under investigation. The rental unit was in a home on Central Avenue south in Valley City.
