CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Congratulation to good luck to Annie Hart and Jaustin Opatz this years 1st place finishers in Regional Soap Box Derby June 8 in Valley City.
Hart will compete in the Super Stock division and Opatz will compete in the Stock division at the International Soap Box Derby July, 27 in Akron, Ohio. Congratulations to all of the other contestants for competing in the 2013 Soap Box Derby in Valley City.
You can support the local Soap Box Derby Club by buying a duck for the “Ducking Down the Sheyenne” raffle.
On June 15th during “Rally in the Valley,” the ducks will be dumped off the foot bridge at City Park . The top 10 ducks will receive chamber bucks. 1st place is $500 in chamber bucks. Duck raffle tickets are available at Central Ave Pharmacy and from all Soap Box Derby Club members.
