CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Barnes County received two green lights to move forward with their plans to remodel a portion of the basement of the courthouse for the Public Service Answer Point Center.

On June 11 the state Historical Society gave the thumps up on the project and on June 12 the asbestos test passed with flying colors according to Barnes County Commission President Eldred Knutson. He said the county will move forward with the remodeling project estimated at $20,000.
