N.D. (Newsdakota.com) – Prairie Pals, a Jamestown 4-H club, will be setting up at the Stutsman County Fair to take non-perishable food donations for their “Invest An Acre/ Feeding America” community service project.

“Prairie Pals has always done our Food Pantry Drive in the Fall and now they’ve taken on this one for the Summer.” said Deb Hatlewick, the 4-H Volunteer Coordinator for Stutsman County.

“Hunger issues isn’t just during the holiday seasons, it’s year round.”

When asked about where the food goes, Deb said it stays right here in Stutsman County.

“Farmers can invest and acre or more of their crops to our cause and that will also stay local.” Deb said.

You can help aid their cause by bringing your non-perishable food and toiletry items to the Prairie Pals 4-H Booth. For more information, you can Contact Deb and 701-952-9030

The Prairie Pals 4-H club will be located in the Russ Melland Building from July 10th through July 13th at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M.
