N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Public Schools has a newly hired Superintendent.

Robert Lech of Dickinson, North Dakota was recently hired to take on responsibilities of the Superintendent position.

Attending the University of North Dakota and then later transferring to Northern State University in Aberdeen, Lech received his undergraduate in History Education and English.

He went on to teach and become an administrator for the Tappen School District.

“I’ve been in North Dakota all my life and I love it here.” said Superintendent Lech.

Lech has had some principal jobs around North Dakota before landing in Jamestown.

When asked about what he hoped to see done in the Jamestown Public Schools, Robert said a lot of assessment needed to happen first.

“Probably the biggest thing is strategic planning. The district didn’t have a strategic plan.”

When asked about contacting him with questions or concerns, Robert said he welcomes it.

If you have any questions for Mr. Lech, you can contact him at rob.lech@sendit.nodak.edu or call the district office at 701-252-1950.
