N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A fire damaged the main leg of the elevator in Rogers about 11:30 Thursday night.
Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin said employees were loading railroad cars at the time of the fire. he said there was extensive damage to the grain leg and to some electrical wiring.
Fire crews from Rogers, Dazey, Sanborn and Valley City’s ladder truck were used to help put out the fire. McClaflin said several fire crews remained on scene until 3:45 am Friday morning watching for hot spots. No injuries were reported.
