N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp, a member of the Senate Banking Committee, will host housing summits this week in Mandan and Fargo bringing together community leaders to talk about how to fix North Dakota’s housing shortage

Senator Heitkamp will also host a roundtable discussion on student loans and college affordability Thursday at 2pm in the Skoal Room at the Valley City State University Student Center.

VCSU college administration officials, financial aid officers, and students will join Heitkamp to talk about the recent bipartisan compromise on student loan interest rates. The public is welcome to attend this event.
