CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Two men died in a fiery crash at the intersection of North Dakota Highway 1 and 46 according to Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin.

Highway Patrol Sgt. Tom Herzig says the driver of an eastbound semi failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the northbound semi. Witnesses say the impact from the crash flipped one of the trailers in mid air severing power lines. A fire engulfed both semi tractor trailers shortly after the crash around 9am Wednesday morning east of Litchville.

The drivers were pronounced dead at the scene and both vehicles were destroyed by the fire.
