CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City’s top golfers will meet this weekend on Saturday, August 17th as the Valley City Town and Country Club Tournament gets underway.

Golfers will meet up for match play beginning on Saturday morning at 9am. Participants will tee off in seven different flights consisting of the Presidents Flight, Chuck Sjostrom Flight, Roger Ludwig Flight, Harold Ertlet Flight, Dale Sorenson Flight, Andy Nygaard Flight, and of course the Championship flight.

This year’s Championship Bracket consists of the following match ups.

Sat. 9am #3 Ben Sorenson vs #6 Matt Sorenson

Sat. 9:10am #1 Sean Krall vs #8 Jamie Wirth
