CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A Valley City man faces a felony charge for possession of child pornography. Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson says 44-year-old Lawrence Benham was arrested Thursday following a tip from a citizen.

Thompson says additional charges may be pending against Benham as a lengthy investigation continues.

Thompson says a number of multiple electronic devices were seized as evidence. The material has been sent to the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation for a complete forensic examination.

Thompson says anyone with information in the case is asked to contact the police department at 845-3110.
