I talked with Sue Balcom. She is the new Executive Director for FARRMS, a non-profit organizations based out of Medina, North Dakota. FARRMS provides education in organic farming and processing for both farmers and the consumer. Right now, they are doing a series of Webinars on a different number of topics including affording locally grown food and starting a community garden.
Webinars are $10 a session or $100 for all 16 sessions. They are held weekly on Wednesday and there is limited room. Go to www.farms.org to find out more information or to sign up for the webinars.
Below is the interview I had with Sue Balcom about the Webinars and the goal of FARRMS.
