CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) 4 churches and a public library were burglarized recently in Valley City.

Police Chief Fred Thompson says in each case the the suspect or suspects appeared to be looking for money and other valuables left behind in the churches.

Thompson says evidence obtained at several crime scenes could be used to connect the suspect or suspects with these crimes. Entry was gained through unsecured doors and in some cases forced entry was visible at the scene.
