(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School volleyball team started their final two weeks of the regular season with the first of three matches on Tuesday night in Kindred.

The hometown Vikings swept the Tornadoes three games to one. Kindred defeated Oakes by scores of 25-14, 25-20 and 25-18. 

Oakes has two games remaining in the regular season; the next is coming on Monday October 21 in Ashley against South Border. Coverage can be heard on KDDR-AM 1220, 95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com
