N.D. (AP) – A primary health care clinic in Medina has shuttered. The decision to close the Health clinic came as a result of decreasing patient demand in Medina combined with increasing patient demand in Jamestown.

The clinic had been open four hours a day, twice a month. Dr. Scott Rowe has been traveling from Essentia’s clinic in Jamestown to see patients in Medina for more than 25 years. Rowe says he hopes to continue seeing patients from Medina at the newly constructed Essentia Health clinic in Jamestown.
