(NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals traveled to Cando for a Region 4 showdown in High School Volleyball last night.  The Cards lost in five sets (25-10, 25-20, 22-25, 23-25, 6-15).  Carrington drops to 24-6 overall, North Star improves to 28-2. 

The Cards had a total of 52 kills led by Jacey Engelhorn with 19 and Madison Wendel with 17.  They served 89% with 13 aces, Page Anderson had a match high four aces. 

Next up for Carrington will be their last regular season game of the year in Pingree against Pingree/Buchanan.  Pregame can be heard on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com about 7pm, first serve about 7:15pm.  The District 7 Tourney starts October 31st in New Rockford.  Carrington is the number two seed and will play the winner of Harvey/Wells County VS Benson County on Friday, November 1st.
