N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Stutsman County Park Board was awarded a grant from The Garrison Diversion Conservancy District’s Recreation Committee. The grant is a matching recreation grant of ,875.

The grant will be used to buy playground equipment for the Lakeside Campground at the Jamestown Reservoir.

The Garrison Diversion Conservancy District awards grants to different counties to help with building recreational opportunities. Wimbledon was also awarded $8,625 to purchase new playground equipment for a park.

The Garrison Diversion is accepting applications for their matching recreation grant program and meet every spring and fall to consider applications. The next deadline for recreation grant applications is April 1, 2014.
