N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Transportation has announced that several areas in North Dakota are still in a Travel Alert.

NDDOT asks that if you need to travel today, use caution. Icy conditions continue throughout today with the possibility of blowing and drifting snow reducing visibility. They also ask that you ensure you have your winter survival kit in your vehical as temperatures are expected to be below zero throughout the week. Travel Alert areas include Minot, Devils Lake, Grand Forks, Fargo, Valley City, Jamestown, Bismarck, and surrounding areas.

NDDOT has also announced that snow plows are out and in full force. Make sure to keep up to date with their Travel Maps at www.dot.nd.gov.
