LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fire has destroyed a grain elevator in Devils Lake.
Fire Chief Jim Moe says the fire was reported about 8 o’clock last night at the Dakota Dry Bean elevator – formerly known as the Peavey elevator.
Moe says two firefighters suffered frostbite. He says at one time, as many as 65 firefighters were battling the blaze. Moe says the elevator is a total loss.
