N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The AgCountry Farm Credit Services Board of Directors declared a .6 million cash patronage dividend based on 2013 earnings during their December 2013 meeting. The dividend will be distributed to members in March of 2014.

AgCountry’s patronage program was created in December of 2012. This marks the first year AgCountry is paying out a patronage dividend to its member-owners.

President & CEO Bob Bahl says, “The ability to share in the earnings of the association is an important benefit of being a member-owner of AgCountry Farm Credit Services, and one that we’re pleased to be able to provide.”

AgCountry Chairman of the board Michael Long says, “We’re dedicated to serving rural America, so it’s nice to be able to put this money back into the hands of our customers and their local economies.”

AgCountry Farm Credit Services is a customer-owned and customer driven organization that provides credit and financial services to more than 12,000 farmers and ranchers through 27 offices in 18 counties in eastern ND and 24 counties in northwestern and west central Minnesota.

The company, headquartered in Fargo, ND, has managed assets in excess of $4 billion and has more than 390 employees.
