CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The driver of a van was injured after two vans collided at the intersection of main and 2nd Avenue east just before 5 o’clock Wednesday in Valley City.

The impact from the collision sent one of the vans crashing into the northwest corner of the Pizza Corner Restaurant in Valley City causing considerable damage to the building.

Valley City fire and rescue personnel extricated the driver from the van, who was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries. No word on the condition of the injured driver has been released.
