N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department wants to warn Jamestown residents regarding a convicted sex offender who is living within the city of Jamestown.

Sawyer John Suko, 20, has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee from the Office of the Attorney General. Mr. Suko was convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition when he took some alcoholic beverages to a neighboring campsite and gave some to a 13 year old girl. When she was intoxicated, Suko had sex with her. He was charged in 2012 in Stutsman County District Court.

Mr. Suko is currently on probation with the North Dakota Parole and Probation. He is not wanted by police at this time. This notification is to inform and for public safety and not to increase fear in the community.
