N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department wants to warn Jamestown residents regarding a convicted sex offender living within the city of Jamestown.

Thomas Stewart Maedche has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee in the Office of the Attorney General.

Mr. Maedche has been convicted of Indecent Exposure when a 9 year old girl found Maedche masturbating while he looked at her. He has also been convicted of Sexual Assault when he sexually grabbed two girls, ages 13 and 15, and again when he touched 3 girls ages 7 to 9.

Mr. Maedche is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the courts. This notification is for public safety and not to increase fear in the community.
