The Tornado wrestling team defeated Linton-HMB 37-30.

132 pounds Brady Ptacek wins by forfeit.

138 pounds Erik Loepp won by decision over Andrew Leier 3-1

145 pounds Kaleb Sell won by major decision over Trevor Martin 8-0

152 pounds Jarod Roth pinned Rylan Jacob at 4:54

160 pounds Scott Ketterling pinned Jadyn Schumacher at 1:19

170 pounds Cole Ehrlin pinned Braydon Schmidt at 0:20

182 pounds Jed Bopp pinned Jordan Gross at 3:16

The Oakes Girls and Boys Basketball teams were victorious against Leola/Frederick South Dakota on Tuesday night; the girls winning 39-36, while the boys won 57-53.

Both basketball teams return to District 1 play later this week; the boys in Forman against Sargent Central on Thursday, the girls in Hankinson on Friday night. The wrestlers have wrapped up the duel part of their 2013-14 regular season, and will head to New Salem to compete in the East/West Classic Friday and Saturday.
