CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A pickup crashed into the front yard of a Valley City residence nearly hitting a tree in the 200 block of 6th street northwest around 6:30 Tuesday night.

Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson says according to witnesses the driver and a passenger, a man and a woman, fled the scene immediately after the crash. Thompson says the man and the woman are wanted for questioning in this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Valley City police department at 845-3110.
