(NewsDakota.com) – In 2014, both the opening game and Homecoming for the Jimmie football team will feature games against Valley City State. The schedule that was released today has Jamestown headed to Valley City to open the season on August 28th in a non-conference game and then the Vikings will make the return trip on September 27th. The meeting at Rollie Greeno Field will be Homecoming for the University of Jamestown.

The Jimmies will play three home games in the month of September, getting visits from Concordia-Moorhead, Waldorf and the aforementioned game against VCSU.  The Cobbers will come to Jamestown on September 6th for the home opener.

Four games in October will have the Jimmies on the road three times with trips to Dakota St., Dickinson St., and Presentation. The lone home game will be against Mayville St.

Jamestown will play twice in November with second games against Mayville St. and Dickinson St. The final game will be at home on November 15.
