N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Jamestown based “Farm Rescue” says “DuPont Pioneer” donated ,000 towards 2014 planting and harvesting efforts. Local account manager Matt Carlson sponsored this grant. The funds will be directed to support the efforts of the “Farm Rescue” organization that plants and harvests crops free of charge for family farmers who have suffered a major injury, illness or disaster.

Farm Rescue Founder Bill Gross says “we want to thank DuPont Pioneer for their generous gift. Only with the assistance of businesses like this can we continue to provide this service.” 

Farm Rescue was founded in 2006 and has helped more than 200 families since its inception. Farm Rescue helps farm families in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and Iowa. Applications are currently being accepted for the 2014 planting season, which can be obtained at 701-252-2017 or farmrescue.org.
