N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Spiritwood Energy Park Association voted unanimously to approve a resolution to rebid the rail loop project and rescind the bid originally awarded to the Dakota Missouri Valley and Western Railroad (DMVW).

DeAnn Brunner with the Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation stated that RailWorks, another bidder for the project, had concerns about the bid evaluation process.

DeAnn also stated that it was completely unintentional by SEPA when they contacted all of the bidders after receiving the bids, which is not allowed by North Dakota State law. The new date for the bidding process has not been set.
