(NewsDakota.com)- After already being named North Dakota Miss Basketball, it was no surprise that Paige Peterson became the fourth Blue Jay named to the first-team all-state. The Augustana College-bound senior lead the West Region in scoring and rebounding.
Peterson was named Jamestown’s first Miss Basketball winner on Saturday night following the Class B state championship game. She was joined by Bismarck senior Kiesha Engelhardt, junior Alexis Klabo from Davies and sophomores Sarah Jacobson of Shanley and Cassie Askvig of Minot.
The second team featured, Valley City’s Dierra Diegel, Devils Lake’s Madison Walford, West Fargo’s Cassie Thorson, and Century’s duo of Macy Lynch and Jordyn Jossart.
The Class A boys all-state will be released tonight.
