N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A release from the Wells County State’s Attorney Office has announced the termination of both the Wells and Foster County Assistant State’s Attorney positions.
Paul Murphy, the Foster County State’s Attorney, and Kathleen Murray, the Wells County State’s Attorney, both will have their respective assistant position to each county revoked and terminated. Paul Murphy was asked why each position was being revoked and terminated.
According to Murphy, both he and Murray will retain their positions as Wells and Foster County State’s Attorney’s, but will no longer serve each other as assistants. Kathleen Murray will no longer hold her assistant position once the cases she is currently working on are complete. There was no comment from Kathleen Murray’s office.
