N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Engineer’s Office has announced that continued snow removal will begin tonight in the downtown area.

Starting at 11:00 PM, crews will begin plowing snow in the downtown area and continue throughout the night. The city asks that downtown merchants and all public/private schools have their sidewalk shoveled my 9 P.M. tonight. They also ask that snow be pushed directly into the street and to not create piles of snow.

Snow removal will begin in residential areas at approximately 11:00 AM on Friday, April 4th and continue through normal working hours. Snow plow gates have been removed from City equipment. The schedule of snow removal is contingent upon changing conditions and snow accumulation totals.
