(NewsDakota.com) Jerricoh Hansen, a senior at Northern Cass High School and the son of Darci Claude and the Late Gaylon Hansen of Valley City, has committed to play football for Concordia College in the fall of 2014.

Hansen was a one of the Jaguars captains in 2013. He led by example all season long leading the Jags in tackles and breaking a single game record with 24 tackles in one game.

While attending Concordia, the newest member of the Cobbers defensive core will major in Sports Medicine. He received an academic scholarship from the school earlier this year that will help him achieve that degree.

At Northern Cass, Hansen also found a love for the game of baseball, and is considering walking on to the Cobbers team in the spring.
