(NewsDakota.com)- The University of Jamestown baseball has continued its great season with a 3-1 weekend in Lennox, SD against Dakota State. The wins impoved their record to 27-6 and when the new polls come out tomorrow, they may be in the Top-25.

Jamestown swept the pair on Friday winning 8-3 and 16-0 and the split on Saturday winning 2-1 and losing 6-5. The games were originally scheduled for Brookings, but their field was not ready in time and they were moved to Lennox.

The Jimmies will play six home games this week. Two today against Winnipeg, two on Wednesday vs. Valley City State and two on Saturday against Dickinson. With the exception of the 1pm start Saturday, the other games begin at 2pm.
