(NewsDakota.com) The 2014 North Dakota Class B Baseball Tournament is set to start Saturday May 17, and run May 19, 20 and 22 at Kindred High School.

Due to the weather that has plagued the regular season, the seeds of the tournament have been assigned based on winning percentage of the regional games that were played between the teams.

The double-elmination tournament features a play-in game which is set for 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 at Townsend Field in LaMoure pitting #7 LaMoure (.125 winning percentage) against #8 Hankinson/Fairmount/Lidgerwood (.000) Coverage of the play-in game can be heard on Q101.1FM and NewsDakota.com starting at 4:45 p.m. Thursday.

Round one play from Kindred starts at 11:00 a.m. with #4 Northern Cass (.545) vs. #5 Central Cass (.300). Game two will feature #3 Oakes (.571) and the winner of Thursday’s play-in contest. Game three has #1 Kindred/Richland (.909) playing the winner of the Northern Cass/Central Cass contest, while game four will have the Oakes/Play-in game winner against #2 Enderlin/Maple Valley (.800).

All Oakes games throughout the tournament will be on KDDR-AM 1220/95.9 FM, while LaMoure-LM games can be heard on Q101.1 FM. NewsDakota.com will have both teams’ games throughout the tournament.
