N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public Schools recently gave the go ahead to develop a new app for smart phone devices and tablets to keep the community effectively informed.
Superintendent of Jamestown Public Schools Robert Lech gave his report to the Jamestown School Board at their June 2nd meeting. He stated that it was the schools duty to remain in effective communication with the community.
The app will cost the district to create and develop it, but the app will be free to the public. It will also be compatible with both Android and Apple devices.
The app remains in development, but the school is focusing on certain areas for the app. The app would include push notifications of school closures and event changes, calendar integration, directories, lunch menus and payments, sports information and feedback reporting.
