N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Terrorism and response communication were tested by first responders and school officials in the community on June 25th.
A fake incident was created that had a shooter that was later apprehended by law enforcement while EMS treated victims and fire department members created perimeter control. A grant provided by the North Dakota Homeland Security made the training possible. Following the exercise, everyone met to discuss what was learned from the training. Communication between everyone was a big topic during the debriefing.
An inventory review and testing of the other equipment is scheduled for the future with a training incident command scheduled this year.
