N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning Jamestown residents of a convicted sex offender who is residing within the city.

34 year old Shaun Michael Johnson was convicted of Indecent Exposure in 1995 when he exposed himself to two 14 year-old girls and asked them to engage in sexual acts and then tried to force himself on them. Johnson was also convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition twice. In 1998, he engaged in sexual acts with three girls between ages 12 to 15 and one boy the age of 13. He was convicted again when he went to a family’s house, asked to spend the night and later went to a 12 year-old girl’s bedroom and fondled her in 2005.

Shaun Michael Johnson is not wanted by police at this time as he is currently serving his imposed court sentence. This is just for public safety and any attempt to use this information to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender will result in prosecution.
