(NewsDakota.com) – Just one game left to determine the difference in the No. 5 and No. 6 seeds in next weeks Class AA Legion State Tournament. Dickinson and Minot will play tonight to decide which one will be seeded one line higher.
The state tournament will be played starting at 5pm on Tuesday at Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown. Williston and Fargo Post 400 will kick off the day and that will be followed by Jamestown and Mandan at 8pm. All games will be nine inning affairs.
Jamestown Post 14 needed a win in its final double header against Fargo Post 2 to move up the No. 8 seed but were swept last night 3-0 and 15-4 to finish off the league season and will be the tournaments No. 10 seed.
No surprise that Bismarck is seeded No. 1 and Grand Forks is No. 2, Central and BHS played for the Class A high school title and Red River was a semifinalist.
Coverage of Post 14 will start about 10 minutes before first pitch on Tuesday night from Jack Brown Stadium on ESPN Jamestown AM 1400/97.1 FM and NewsDakota.com.
