CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Construction for the water main replacement project is now underway along Main Street west, one of three areas in Valley City scheduled for water main replacements this summer.

Construction on west Main Street will require a detour and motorists need to be aware that various lanes may be closed and are advised to follow detour and caution signs.

Weekly planning meetings are being held with the Contractor (Robert Gibb & Sons) Engineer (KLJ) and Valley City to provide updates on the progress of the project.
