Maher, age 74, of Sanborn, ND, died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 8th at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Sanborn, ND.  Visitation will be held on hour before the service at the church on Saturday afternoon.

Alfred is survived by his children Coleen (Steve) Piatz. Betty (Richard) Risser both of Sanborn, ND, Paul (Diane) Fritchie of Hastings, ND; 8 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Alivilda (Mickey) Maher, parents Henry and Kathyrn (Ennis) Maher, 2 siblings, and numerous aunts and uncles.
