N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two people were injured in a crash that occurred on the Interstate near Casselton on Sunday night.
43 year-old Scotty Borden of Big Rock, Tennessee was traveling westbound when he slowed to cross the median. A van driven by 48 year-old Bryan Berger of Mandan, North Dakota was struck by the truck when it began to turn. The truck suffered extensive damage to the front axle and came to rest on the crossover.
After impact, the van left the westbound lane, slid into the median and across the eastbound lanes, coming to rest in the ditch. Both Bryan Berger and 48 year-old Debra Berger were injured and transported by ambulance to a Fargo Hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
