R. Roberg, 78, Litchville, ND, died April 2, 2015 at his home.  As per Dennis’ wishes, no funeral service will take place.  A private memorial service will be held at Woodbine Cemetery, Valley City, ND at a later date.

Dennis Richard Roberg was born June 11, 1936 in rural Kathryn, ND, the son of Anton and Emma (Anderson) Roberg.  He was baptized and confirmed at Spring Creek Lutheran Church in Hastings, ND.  Dennis attended Daily School near Kathryn.

After a time of farming with their father, Dennis and his brother, Lloyd, went out on their own.  They began dairy farming and did so until retiring in 1997.  Dennis remained on the farm until his death.

He is survived by his brothers, Clifford (Lyla) Roberg of Billings, MT and David (Sharon) Roberg of Valley City, ND; sisters, Irma Kemmer of Lime Springs, IA, Mary Peterson of Valley City, and Shirley Stevens of Valley City.  He also leaves several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Todd Stevens and special niece, Dawn (Roger) Lausch and their children Cody and Trevor.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alton, William and Lloyd; and a sister, Florence Hoff.
