N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The second of three scheduled public forums for the community to learn more about the Two Rivers Activity Center project will be held tonight at the Jamestown Middle School’s Thompson Community Room at 7:00 PM.
At the first forum, residents learn about the financial cost of the project as well as who would staff it and what the project would bring to the community. During the forum tonight, individuals will have a chance to learn about the project and will be able to ask questions about the facility.
Absentee voting began April 23rd on the special election vote to impose a 1% city sales tax to help fund the $28 million first phase. Early voting is scheduled to begin May 18th and the special election will be June 2nd at the Jamestown Civic Center.
