George was a very involved Dad, and his girls were his world.  He ruled with an iron fist and a marshmallow heart.  George loved to hunt, play golf and go camping with his family.  They also enjoyed games and cards, especially pinochle and cribbage.  George’s spare time since retirement was filled with family time too.  He loved attending his grandchildren’s activities.  Going to the park with his grandkids, bonfires and cookouts in the backyard.  Going to the Viking room, George on his scooter and Tyana and Amara on their bikes.

George was a great friend, a coach, a teacher and a mentor to many.  He had a nickname for everyone.  He was extremely funny, with a quick wit that always made you laugh.  He had an opinion on everything; which he was always willing to share with you.

George “the Diplomat” was a member of EBC Fraternity, Knights of Columbus, and while in Richardton, a volunteer fireman.
